fatmaneatingicecreamandrunning5klicks

So, yeah, I was down 30 lbs at one point. Wow. My son was born and a steady diet of hospital food took me back up a bit. I'm back down a few and I've seemingly settled at a buck 55; 25 lbs less than my highest weigh in, the day after I watched Richard the stranger have a heart attack and die.

I've been running and watching what I eat. Mostly running, four or five days a week and I must admit, I'm feeling better (health and emotion wise) than I have fealt in a long time. Yeah.

So, anyway, it's time to set another goal - beyond maintaining this weight loss and a bit of toning. Running in a circle is fun and all, but I'm finding myself wanting to aim for another goal, so next week I shall start training for a 5 kilometer race. My ultimate goal is to run the Prague half marathon. The race is in March, so it'll probably be 2008 before I get around to doing that; but my aim is to run two 5ks this autumn and a couple of 10 ks next season.
